In 2024, I made a sound investment in a Japanese sports car. As a child, I dreamed of having the same car as DK from 2 Fast 2 Furious; fortunately, a second-hand 2006 model isn’t a huge expense. However, it quickly became a never-ending series of sounds, clanks, and engine codes to fix.
Nonetheless, each repair has been worth it, and it has shown me how valuable technicians’ and mechanics’ work is, and how important it is to engineer for repair and modification. Above all, my hands get greasy, burnt, and cut, which is an enjoyable reflection of a day’s work.
The Mods to date have been:
Intake Plenum Spacer, Intake Plenum, larger Throttle Body, Pop Charger Intake, Invidia Cat-Back Exhaust, Rolled Fenders, Wheel Spacers, Paddle Shifters, ECU Tune

The Repairs to date have been:
New Ignition system, Ignition Coils and Plugs, Radiator, Cam Shaft Sensor, TCM Solenoids, Transmission Swap, Pads and Rotors, Rear Axles, Hosing, Air Conditioning, Headlights and Tailights, Fender Lining, Battery, and more

It is a unique experience when a planned 30-minute job turns into 4 hours of hard labour because of a rusty bolt, a lost nut, or corrosion. Fortunately, it is all worth it when I bathe in the sun above Cypress Mountain, a book in my lap, with the creaks of my overheated exhaust behind me.
